It is important to cleanse your crystals after you have purchased them. My favorite way to cleanse is to run them under cool water for a few minutes. Water cleanses the energies trapped in the crystal. Then dry the crystal with a towel and program it! Of course there are other ways to cleanse crystals; this is simply my favorite method.

Programming is basically placing your intent into the crystal's energy field. Simply hold the crystal in your hands and intend that it be used for healing, etc. (Basically you intend whatever you wish, so long as it is positive!)

Our minds and intent are very powerful especially on the etheric realm, so after cleansing the crystal your intent alone will empower the crystal to work in the way that you want.
