I had my first Reiki session with Naomi last night at my home. The session started with a guided meditation and proceeded to the formal Reiki process. The whole experience was astounding! I have never had an "out-of-body" experience prior to last night and what I saw was incredible. At the precise instant that Naomi touched my head, I saw a flash of light above my eyes as though someone had launched an emergency flare into the air. This light then enveloped me from head to toe and I could see myself glowing on the massage table. Then I felt the sensation of lifting up above my own body until I was actually seeing the roof of my house glowing with the same white light. Over the course of a few moments, I saw the San Francisco Bay Area, then North America, then the whole Planet glowing with the same bright light. After observing this, I noticed a beam of light that looked very much like a laser beam shoot straight out of the opposite side of the globe from where I was laying. I thought for a moment about where this beam of light would lead but I decided not to pursue it. At this point, Naomi lifted her hands from my feet and I saw the same beam of light come down from above me, directly into my body. It felt like this light travelled across and around the Universe until it came full circle and right back into me. The sensation was incredible and I could not move my body for what seemed like several minutes. I have never felt that way before last night. The ability to channel light in this manner is definitely a gift that Naomi has and shares freely. This is the first of many Reiki sessions I hope to have with her.
